The Epic era is now over and the Mystic era starts today! Congrats to everyone who placed in the Leaderboards of the Epic era—we’re proud of every single Lunacian who battled ‘til the end!
We saw various metas emerge during the Epic era. There were over 10 common archetypes across the Top 100 such as: AOE, Jinx Aggro, Confuse Control, Burn Sustain, Poison, Triple Owl Carry, Tiny Fan Sustain, Tassels, Backdoor.
A few rogue teams such as Perch Ramp, Bubble Bomb, Bleed-Aggro made appearances as well. We’re looking forward to seeing new builds and the collective creativity of Lunacians during the Mystic era!
A Look Into The Mystic Era
Unlike the Epic era, the Mystic era will only last for one full week. The battles will be more intense as players jockey for positioning in the Leaderboards within a shorter time-frame.
Here’s a quick snapshot of what the Mystic Era will look like:
Day 21 to Day 28
Total Reward Payout = 16,800 AXS (or 15% of 112,000 AXS)
Master Crafting unlocks.
All Runes and Charms are available for crafting.
Bonus: all players who played at least one game during the Epic Era will receive a Sealed Mystic Rune Choice Box which they can redeem at any time during Season 2.
Minting Time Reduced From 7D → 3D
After gathering data and community feedback, we have reduced minting time for Runes and Charms from 7 days to 3 days. This means that Runes and Charms you crafted three days ago (or longer) will immediately be available for minting. All Runes and Charms you craft today will be mintable in 3 days (72 hours) moving forward.
What is a Mystic Moment?
Your chance of crafting a Mystic Rune or Charm increases after using the Master - Ronin recipe a number of times. This means you are guaranteed to roll a Mystic Rune or Charm after a certain number of crafting. When this happens, we call it a Mystic Moment!
Balancing Updates
As shared previously, we’re planning on rolling out changes for Red Sage (Plant Mystic charm), and the Jinx mechanic.
Here’s what they will look like:
Charms
◦ Red Sage—Base Stat: 10% → 20%
Mechanics
◦ Jinx—Trigger: Whenever this card is drawn → **At the end of your turn.**
