Introducing: Origins Vault
Over the last few seasons, Origins has been making great traction, and we want to scale up our progress to build and iterate even faster. With this, we’re introducing the Origins Vault. 90% of the revenue generated from Gems goes to this vault. These funds will be used to make Origins even better. 10% of the revenue goes straight into the Axie Community Treasury so the shop will both strengthen Origins AND AXS value accrual. Here’s what the Origins vault will be used for:
Moar Players. With improved first time player experience and early progression systems, we want to capitalize on the moment and invest in user acquisition via traditional Web2 methods and bleeding-edge Web3 methods.
More Countries. As you know, Axie Infinity: Origins has been soft-launched on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. We plan on investing and expanding user acquisition in our existing regions and release Origins in more countries via Google and Apple!
Stronger Team. The community has worked alongside us to build out an extensive list of features that we want to build. Investing in the team now will help us accelerate this progress.
Faster progress That will grow the Treasury: by moving quickly and getting Origins to be as strong as possible before this cycle matures, then the small amount of revenue in the Origins Vault will likely be dwarfed by the value accrual to the Community Treasury via App.axie fees / breeding fees / minting fees/ + ascension/evolution fees this cycle.

Retro Mode In Origins
In case you missed it, Axie Classic is Back!
Origins is paying tribute to the OG with a brand new game mode called Retro.
We've taken some of the most iconic mechanics from Classic to put a fresh spin on Origins gameplay.
Retro will live under the Arcade, which is where we'll be featuring different game modes, such as Blitz and Retro. In the Arcade, players can kick back after a long day in the Arena. You can expect more game modes in the future too!
[Arcade: Retro] will feature Classic game mechanics such as Class Advantage, Class Bonus, and you guessed it, Critical Hits!
Get ready for the next battle because we're throwing it back! See you at the Arcade!
We’ll be announcing even more updates to Origins as we get closer to the Season 7 start date.
Keep an eye out as well for more good news this week.
For now… See you in the Arena!
