Whitelist Expansion, Axie Confetti, and Voting!

We’re expanding whitelist access to Project T to anyone who owns ten axies or more AND has at least one of the following: a Japanese, Xmas, or Shiny axie.
Introducing: Axie Confetti! This is a new quiz event in Project T where players answer multiple-choice questions about Axie and Ronin for a chance to win prizes. Join us in the Town Hall for the inaugural Axie Confetti event on September 13th at 11am EST time (11pm PH).
Players will now be able to earn votes by completing quests and certain activities. Use these votes to influence the construction of new buildings in town and crown the Axie of the Week!
One month ago, we launched an early prototype of Project T – a new Axie game developed by Sky Mavis. In Project T, players can interact with each other and their axies like a digital meetup while playing a variety of mini-games. Today, we’re opening up access to more players and giving Project T new features! Here’s how the whitelist access is changing, and what Axie Confetti, Building Votes, and the Axie of the Week are all about:
Get Whitelist Access to Project T
Today, we’ve expanded Project T whitelist access to anyone who owns ten axies or more AND has at least one of the following: a Japanese, Xmas, or Shiny axie. That will enable more Lunacians than ever to access Project T. Of course, Project T is still an early prototype and has a long way to go. However, we’re excited to give more players the opportunity to experience what we’re building, share their feedback, and help us iterate on the latest features we’ve shipped today!
Introducing: Axie Confetti
Axie Confetti is a new quiz event in Project T where players answer multiple-choice questions about Axie and Ronin for a chance to win prizes. Correct answers and speed of responses will determine the winner. How well do you know Lunacia? What about Ronin? Join us in the Town Hall for the inaugural Axie Confetti event on September 13th at 11am EST (11pm PH). The winner will receive a Japanese axie! After this first event, we’ll host an Axie Confetti every Monday at 11am EST (11pm PH) and Wednesday at 11pm EST (11am PH, Thursday).
Building Voting and Axie of the Week
Axie has always been more than a game: it’s an infinite universe that we’re building alongside our community. That’s why we’re excited to share the latest Building Voting and Axie of the Week features! These features will give players even more of a voice in Project T. Vote on which buildings will appear in Project T, and also cement your legacy in Lunacia forever. Here’s how the features will work:
Building Voting
This month, Lunacians will be able to use their votes to decide which axie class will receive an exclusive clubhouse in town: Mystics, sumos, bigyaks, or Japanese. This clubhouse will only be accessible with a matching Axie collection. Players can earn votes by completing up to five monthly quests. After a player completes a quest, they will have earned ten votes. Complete all five quests to earn an additional ten votes! That means each player can earn up to sixty votes. Players can vote on a rolling basis as they earn votes, and the building will be built in about a month. There will be new buildings to vote on every month!
Axie of the Week
Every week starting September 18th, one axie will win a Japanese axie AND receive the honorable Axie of the Week title. This title is forever: it will follow your axie even if your axie changes ownership. We’ll announce winners during the Town Hall every week. Here’s how the competition works:
Monday - Thursday: Players accumulate friend points by completing activities
Friday: Top 8 axies move onto the Final Round
Friday - Sunday: other players use [blue fame] to vote for their favorite axie
Monday: we announce the Axie of the Week from the previous week, and award that player a Japanese axie!
Players can accumulate eligible friend points between Monday and Thursday by completing certain activities like training in the dojo with their axie, using energy in town with their axie, giving their axie food, and having their axie produce food. Want to vote for the Axie of the Week? You need to use Blue Fame. Acquire Blue Fame from quests and food-making. The Axie of the Week Leaderboard will track all player progress in real-time. We wonder who will be the first-ever Axie of the Week in Project T… 🤔💭
Final Thoughts
In 2018, Axie was a card game with a few hundred players. Today, it’s a massive universe that gets bigger everyday. Project T is a new kind of Axie game that offers our community yet another unique experience – beyond Origins and Homeland.
