If you want to know more about Ragoons, this article is for you! In Homeland Alpha Season 3, players can disguise these sneaky creatures and send them off to steal Passive Adventure Leaderboard Points from another player! This introduces an exciting new PvP dynamic to Homeland. Here’s everything you need to know about Ragoons:
What is a Ragoon?
Ragoons are creatures native to Lunacia with shapeshifting abilities. They like to live in groups, and many can be found in resource-rich areas like the Pink Node. In Axie Infinity: Homeland, Ragoons will sometimes visit players’ Ragoon Springs looking for resources. In exchange for certain resources, these Ragoons will disguise themselves as Adventurers who can spy for you – and against you!
How to Spy with a Ragoon
When a Ragoon visits your Ragoon Spring in Homeland, you have the opportunity to offer them resources. In exchange, they will disguise themselves as Adventurers and steal another player’s Leaderboard Points during battle! Select the class, quality, and level of their disguise and provide the required resources. Then, dispatch your Ragoon to an enemy player’s plot.
Dispatching your Ragoon
You’ve prepared your Ragoon, and you’re ready to target another player. Now, your spy will infiltrate an enemy player’s Adventurer list. If your Ragoon remains undetected, he’ll collect any and all Leaderboard Points he earned for the other player in battle – and return them to you!
But wait… What if a Ragoon has infiltrated your plot?!
Introducing: the Spygum
In Lunacia, the truth always prevails. Every player has the option to employ their Spygum and investigate suspicious Adventurers in their list. When a Spy is exposed, they lose their powers and the resources they earned will be lost. This means if your Ragoon gets caught, you won’t earn any extra Leaderboard Points! On the other hand, it also means you can protect yourself from other players who want to steal yours.
Pro Tip: You can remove an Adventurer you suspect of being a Ragoon without using the Spygum. However, remember that removing real Adventurers limits your ability to earn points from battle.
Final Thoughts
We’re excited to introduce this new PvP dynamic to Axie Infinity: Homeland. Keep an eye out for enemy Ragoons in your ranks, and remember that these sneaky creatures can be your friends, too. Good luck, and see you on Homeland Alpha Season 3!
