Introducing: Fortune Chests
If you like high stakes gameplay and extra rewards, you’re going to love Fortune Chests. Fortune Chests can contain rewards ranging from Moonshards to crafting materials to up to 100,000 SLP! There are four variations of Fortune Chests: Bronze, Gold, Diamond, and — the rarest of all — Aurora. Each one has a varying quantity of rewards and percentage drop rate.
So… want to know how to get one?
Every player with a Chick rank or above has at least a 50% chance of receiving a Fortune Chest when they win a Ranked Stamina Battle in Origins during the Filipino Fiesta. The more you play, the greater your chances of receiving a Fortune Chest. Plus, higher-ranked players will find better rewards inside.
Note: you cannot earn Fortune Chests once your daily Stamina has been depleted.
Here’s a full breakdown on the drop rates of Fortune Chests according to your in-game rank in Origins:
The coveted Aurora Fortune Chest is the most precious and rewarding of them all. It has a rare 3% maximum drop rate per victory. Each one contains a small chance of a 100,000 SLP windfall to whoever unlocks it!
Players will need to hold a Wolf rank or higher for the chance to secure an Aurora Fortune Chest. However, newbies and returning players will be happy to hear that they have a 50% chance of receiving a Bronze Fortune Chest for a Ranked Stamina Battle at the Chick rank. Remember to open the chests before the Filipino Fiesta ends. If you open them after the contest, your chests will only have a single moon shard in them.
The Filipino Fiesta Contest
The Philippines celebrates its Independence Day on June 12th, but the Filipino Fiesta runs nonstop from June 9th to June 13th. Compete in fierce Origins battles, earn Fortune Chests, and honor the incredible community — and country — that helped make Axie Infinity what it is today.
The Philippines is home to many incredible and passionate Lunacians, which is why we’re excited to reveal new Filipino-themed cosmetic rewards for the Filipino Fiesta Contest!
Players must first earn Fortune Chests to complete the Contest Missions which then unlocks the Cosmetic Rewards. Bronze chests grant 20 points, Gold chests grant 55 points, and Diamond chests grant 120 points. More chests, more Cosmetic Rewards!
