Evolved Axie Parts are LIVE in Project T!
New materials, new inventory types, and moar
Key Points
Evolved axie parts are now LIVE in Project T!
Introducing new materials: wood, whisper clay, and Pot Golem. Today, the only things you can do with these materials are collecting and trading. However, they’ll have more utility soon. You’ll also find new inventory types including a Foundation, a Backpack, and an Insect Book. These new inventory types will help you store the new materials.
Players can now trade materials at the Town Hall with Shillin.
In August, we launched an early prototype of Project T. Since then, the game has become more than a place for digital meetups: it’s also a community hub and a gateway into sapidae lore. Our latest release brings evolved axie parts to Project T, introduces new materials and inventory items, and enables materials trading at the Town Hall. Here’s what’s new!
Evolved Axie Parts
A few days ago, we introduced Part Evolution to Axie. This enabled Lunacians to evolve axie parts from Level 1 to Level 2, and transformed the visual appearance of many axies. Starting today, those transformed axie parts will now be visible in Project T! This is part of our vision for Axie Core, where your axies’ current features are reflected across multiple Axie games. Keep an eye out for other players’ evolved axies in Project T – you may start to see more of them as Lunacians evolve their axies.
New Materials and Inventory Types
This update is straightforward: we’re introducing new materials and inventory types in Project T. Players can now acquire wood and whisper clay, then store them in their Foundation. The only things you can do with these materials are collecting and trading — for now. Soon, they’ll have different use cases. For example, wood will be used to build a kitchen or create tools like a racket. Whisper clay will also be used to create Pot Golems. Players will even find a Backpack and Insect Book: store rackets and bugs in your backpack, and keep bugs in your Insect Book. You can also move bugs from your Backpack to the Insect Book.
Introducing Materials Trading
Imagine you have a lot of rare butterflies, but lack clay to make a Pot Golem. What do you do? Starting today, you can trade your butterflies for common clay! We’ve introduced materials trading to make it easier for players to get the items they need. Here are a few trades you can make:
Trade 1 Common Butterfly for 1 Common Wood
Trade 1 Rare Butterfly for 1 Common Clay
Trade 99 Rare Butterflies to unlock the Insect Book Inventory
