Over the next week, we’re sending out over 1,000 AXS in rewards to the most active community members in our Discord server.
Congratulations to this month’s Discord community member of the month: Hellscream! Big shout-out to Orcaetal for helping with the 0l3K bot that was used during Axie Week, and to OGK + Gila for streaming BIG3 Trilogy games in the Discord on a weekly basis.
We’ve listed 25 community members below who will receive rewards for the months of June to August. We’ve also shared things anyone can do to win future rewards in September and beyond.
Over the next week, we’re sending out over 1,000 AXS in rewards to some of the most active, helpful, and engaging community members in our Discord server! The Axie Discord server has been a community hub since the early days of Axie, and this is our way of saying thank you to Lunacians who make meaningful contributions. Here’s how it’s going to work:
Making a Difference in our Discord Server
The Axie Discord server has been a community hub since the early days of Axie. In 2018, it was where our co-founder Jihoz met the Axie team for the first time. Today, Lunacians continue to have important conversations with each other and our partners in the server’s many channels – it’s the pulse of our community! That’s why we’ve allocated 1,000 AXS to reward most-active community members in our Discord server this week. We’ll also choose a Community Member of the Month to highlight, starting with Hellscream for the month of August!

Anyone in our community is eligible to receive rewards including Sky Mavis, Axie, and Ronin team members. We want to incentivize everyone in our community to engage with each other with these rewards. How We Choose the Most-Active Community Members
Our community is home to passionate missionaries who have changed the world alongside us. This presents a challenge: how do we choose who will receive a reward? During this event, we collect data using our own Discord Bots. Lunacians will receive a score, and those with the highest scores will receive part of the 1,000 AXS reward! In September and beyond, we may adjust this process to incorporate different indicators of contribution. Iterate, execute, repeat.
Most-active community members are Lunacians who embody these traits:
Passion: starts large number of high-quality conversations
Consistency: sends a large number of relevant messages
Optimism: encourages positive sentiment in the community
Cooperation: responds to community members often
Final Thoughts
