Competitive Axie Grant Updates
Important updates on competitive axie
With the previous Axie Esports grant winding down, we wanted to provide an update on the outlook for competitive axie.
First, we’re excited to announce that we’re expanding the range of games that can apply for grants to Axie Classic and Axie DoLL. This will give the Axie community – and its subcommunities – even more opportunities to come together and showcase their skills in new ways.
We’d like to see more interesting and fun tournament formats proposed as well. Below are some of the ideas we think the community would enjoy:
Pick/Bans
No same parts
No same class
Same body/color
Collector axies only
Classic axies in Origins
Origins axies in Classic
If an axie dies in a game, it will be banned from being used in the succeeding games
Be creative and propose other formats that you think will be exciting and enjoyed by your fellow Lunacians!
We have also begun to accept grant applications on a rolling basis to support the addition of these games. That means applicants can submit proposals at any time while our team reviews them as they come in.
In the past, organizers would rush their grant applications to meet various deadlines and it became hard for players and viewers to keep track of everything. The acceptance of grant applications on a rolling basis should solve that problem.
