We are thrilled to share that Alpha Season 1 of Axie Infinity: Homeland is starting this week. Thank you to our incredible community for the amazing feedback during Alpha Season 0! Here’s what we’ve been working on:
Introducing AXS Rewards
In Homeland Alpha Season 1, top players can earn AXS rewards by placing on the leaderboards! Plus, we’re hosting our first-ever Plot Decoration Contest with AXS on the line. This means that all land owners will have the opportunity to receive AXS for their in-game skillz like building, crafting, battling, and more.
Alpha Season 1 will last for 30 days and Lunacians can expect an exciting season with the chance to express themselves in new ways. For example, you’ll be able to earn cool cosmetic rewards for completing specific seasonal milestones.
Passive Adventure Upgrades
Passive Adventure is where you can equip adventurers with weapons and armor before sending them off to battle some of Lunacia’s most dangerous enemies. Starting in Alpha Season 1, you will be able to form a party of up to 3 adventurers! Plus, we’ve reworked a few mechanics like the overall speed of level-up gains, boss difficulty, and energy restoration.
Remember that leaderboard and plot progress will be reset at the beginning and end of Alpha Season 1. This gives everyone a fresh start and allows our team to ship updates.
Final Thoughts
When we launched the long-awaited first Alpha Season of Axie Infinity: Homeland in December of 2022, we were blown away by our community’s overwhelmingly positive response.
