We’ll bring the giveaways, games, and a few extra surprises. Here’s everything you need to know about Axie Community Week:
What is Axie Community Week?
Axie Community Week is a 5-day celebration of who we are as Lunacians. Every nation has its own identity, history, and destiny. What about us? We know that many new recruits are often wondering how to get started with Axie, while veterans have been asking for more. During Axie Community Week, we’re bringing everyone together and making a statement: this is what it means to be a Lunacian.
Discord Server Updates
Before we begin, we’d like to highlight that we’re revamping our Discord server with our active community in mind — veterans and new recruits alike. We thought this would be a great opportunity to blast open the doors of the Discord server to an even wider audience, too. Here’s what’s new:
First, our latest onboarding features will go live, which will make it easier for new users to join. We’re also updating our Getting Started and Rules sections. Again, easier onboarding. Finally, you’ll soon find an updated International Language Forum when you scroll through our channels.

Going Back to Our Roots
In March of 2018, we launched Axie Infinity to a group of fewer than 300 people. Nobody knew who we were, and it was us against the world! The vibe was different than today, as our nation has expanded to include millions of people from every corner of the globe. We want to bring back a taste of the old days, and celebrate the things that brought us together in the first place: gaming, freedom, and Axie.
In our Discord server, our Axie creators and team members will be hosting a variety of community events including an Origins Balancing Patch Reveal, a coaching session where Berlin will share tips on building a Poison team, and even Axie Classic (v2) matches. We’re bringing back those crits! Challenge a Lunacian for the chance to win an axie, AXS, or — if you’re brave enough — a unique Discord Role for defeating a Sky Mavis team member.
The schedule above shows a list of events we have planned for you. We’ve set up the week to accommodate Lunacians across different time zones. For example, you might want to join Snoopy for Axie Trivia at 6PM ET on July 6th. Or, you might prefer to save your energy for the Discord Disco Bash with Thunderstruck + E4E on July 8th at 10PM PH! The choice is yours. There will also be community-organized events run by channel mods that you're more than welcome to join.
Giveaways and Tipping Bots
While we can’t share a meal with you on Discord, we can make it rain AXS. That’s why we’re excited to introduce new Giveaway and Engagement Bots into our server. These little buddies are going to reward community members who are having a great time during Axie Community Week. The more you engage in our server, the more you can win!

During Axie Community Week, anyone who reacts to a designated message will be entered into a draw for even more exciting prizes. We’ll announce the winners at the end of the week!
Final Thoughts
Axie was born in a bear market, and we’re building through another one today. Times like these may test some Lunacians’ convictions, but we will keep shipping relentlessly no matter what: it’s in our DNA.
