Introducing Gear: Gear is a feature that can be equipped, upgraded, and crafted in Axie Classic. Think of it like Runes and Charms from Origins — but different. If everything goes according to plan, Gear will have in-game utility by Season 8. Stay tuned for more details!

Season Details
Axie Classic S7 will last four weeks, which means both Arena and Guild leaderboards will run until January 24th at 8AM PH / January 23rd at 8PM EST. The Top 16 players will qualify for the Season Championship, and the Season Champion will qualify for the Axie Classic World Cup. Mini Tournaments last until February 1st at 8AM PH / January 31st at 8PM EST. Here’s an overview of what’s new:

Guild Leaderboard Total Prize Pool: 10,000 AXS

Season Championship Details
Top 16 Players from arena leaderboards qualify for Season Championship
Double elimination format
Players must submit 13 axies
Drafting phase before each match will ban 4 axies from each player
All matches are Best-of-Five (BO5)
Championship is Best-of-Seven (BO7)

Enter a Mini Tournament during Classic S7 to earn part of the daily 500 AXS prize pool. Same rewards, same time shifts. In S7, Mini Tournament victories will even grant AXP according to the following categories:
Newbie Tournament Victory: 200 AXP per Win
Pro Tournament Victory: 300 AXP per Win
Master Tournament Victory: 400 AXP per win

New PvE Tower Mode is LIVE
There are two types of Towers in Classic S7: Nightmare Towers and Community Towers. Nightmare Towers are stacked with teams of Nightmare axies, while Community Towers are loaded with axies submitted by the community.
Tower Mode is a new PvE game mode in Axie Classic. Defeat axie teams —> Complete floors —> Earn stars and rewards —> Accumulate AXP. Floors increase in difficulty, which means your opponents get faster and stronger as you progress up the Tower. Complete one floor to unlock the next one, then start cranking up the difficulty level at you climb your way to the top! Learn more here:
New Level 2 Cards in Cursed Coliseum
What do Heartbreaks, Balloon Pops, and Air Force One have in common? Answer: they’re all names of the fresh Level 2 cards that just went LIVE in Classic’s Cursed Coliseum. We shipped a total of 33 cards for Bird, Bug, and Reptile axies, which represents a total of 33 new cards. Filter all Level 2 cards in Card Collections.
Updates to Artifacts and Battle Passes
Artifacts are items that enable players to change an axie’s class. Starting now, players can save artifacts to an axie team! This makes it easier to keep track of which team is using a particular artifact. Thank you to the Axie Classic community for encouraging us to ship this feature.
Battle Passes and Premium Passes are also making a comeback with an exclusive banner — with a few upgrades. Check them out below, and keep reading for explanation of Gear:
Tier 1 (1 slot): Origins axie + speed gear lvl 3
Tier 2 (3 slots): Japanese axie + speed gear lvl 3
Tier 3 (30 slots): Summer axie + hp gear lvl 3
Tier 4 (300 slots): 1 Normal axie + speed gear lvl 2
Tier 5 (5,000 slots): hp gear lvl 2

Removed invalid axie (Delegated/Supporting) when “Axie” is selected in team UI
Fixed an issue where an axie’s HP in “My Axie” is incorrect
Reset Guild Points, Guild Point Leaderboard Ranking, and Battle Pass.
Fixed level 2 “Ivory Chop” card: opponent now enters Last Stand with 3 sticks when defeated
Fixed card description for level 2 “Tiny Swing” to “Increase shield by 100% after round 4”
Fixed exposed text on level 2 “Ballon Pop” card effect from “Raise Shield” to “Stun”

No longer exposing first-time bonus
Now players receive package bonus with different percent bonus
