6,000 Lunacians descended into Lunacia’s ancient dungeon in Playtest 2. The rebuilt combat system brought faster action and fights won by skill. Yet one question lingered in the torchlight: when the threats have been defeated who among you stands strongest?
The dungeon taught you to survive. The trials will reveal who you are.
Playtest 3 is all about PvP. For four days, you will face 8 rivals in a free-for-all to the death. Only the strongest Lunacians will survive. It’s time to sharpen your skills, climb above the rest, and claim your place as the strongest warriors in Lunacia. Do you have what it takes?
The gates are open. Let the battle begin.
New PvP Mode: Free-for-All Deathmatch
Every warrior starts the same way: alone, in the open, surrounded by rivals who want the crown as much as you do. That’s the free-for-all. Eight players enter a 5-minute session, and the first to reach 10 kills or hold the highest kill-to-death ratio walks away the champion.
The map matters as much as your weapon. Designed for this playtest, it gives you bushes to hide in, walls to block attacks, and a special power-ups that grants buffs. Use the map to your advantage and ambush your opponents.
Here’s how to step into your first match:

4-Day Playtest, 6 Sessions
The purpose of this playtest is to introduce real-time PvP and stress-test latency to see if the server holds when many players queue at once. That’s why we’ve curated 6 focused sessions across the four days, so everyone can have the smoothest experience going into matches without long queues.

Five Weapons
In Playtest 3, we’re focusing on five weapons: axe, dagger, tome, bow, and lantern. Each opens a different play style, from tank to assassin, marksman, artillery, and mage. Here’s a recap of each weapon’s skills:
Axe: High-damage bruiser with repeating strikes.
Dagger: Dash and teleport for fast, agile strikes.
Tome: Ranged magic nuker with crowd control.
Bow: Ranged physical dealer that hits multiple lines.
Lantern: Hybrid damage dealer with area-of-effect bursts.
Within a category, every weapon shares identical stats. The axe you wield matches your opponent’s axe exactly, so skill decides the fight, not gear. What your weapon changes is your Movement Speed, Max HP, and Stamina Regen. Test all five, find the one that fights like you do, and dominate the trials.
New Axie Features
Beyond the basic attack, ultimate, and dash, Playtest 3 brings three new features that change how you fight:
Speed Up: A new skill button that boosts your axie’s movement speed while active.
HP Regen: Recover HP when you stay out of combat and stand still for 5 seconds.
Respawn: After a defeat, move your axie to the spot where you want to return.
Speed up to run down a fleeing opponent, or slip into the bushes to heal and fight another round. How you use them is the difference between a good run and a winning one.
Note: Every axie in this playtest carries the exact same stats, including Mystic axies. There are no passive skills or stat differences from axie parts.
The Mushroom
Sometimes the trials offer a gift, and the Lunacian brave enough to take it pulls ahead. The mushroom is a new PvP power-up that spawns at random across the map. Smash it to get one of three buffs: increased movement speed, attack damage, HP regen, or all three at once if you get lucky.
These buffs can be stacked on top of each other and last until you’re defeated, at which point you’ll lose all your buffs. Taking down a buffed opponent lets you steal half of what they carried. The longer you survive, the deadlier you become, and the bigger the target on your back.
The PvP Challenge: Trial of Eight
Glory is its own reward, but the arena offers more. Trial of Eight brings live competition to Dojo with three prize events and 2,500 bAXS on the line.
One entry unlocks all three. Pay 1 AXS entry fee, and you’re in for every event below:
Main Event Leaderboard — 1,500 bAXS
The heart of the Trial. Climb across the reward sessions, where wins, kills, and K/D ratio decide who rises to the top.
The Kill Race — 500 bAXS
A hunt for the most kills across the reward sessions. Stack your eliminations and claim your share.
The Letter Race — 500 bAXS
Every 5 kills earns a roll, and every roll draws a random letter. Spell out “TRIAL OF EIGHT” to complete the phrase. The first to finish ranks highest. Rolls open July 2, 04:00 UTC and close July 4, 18:00 UTC.
Reward sessions run from Session 3 through 6.
Your 1 AXS entry must be confirmed before Session 3 begins on July 2, 04:00 UTC.
How to enter:
Step 1: Go to Dojo and sign in
Step 2: Link the Ronin wallet you’ll use for the event
Step 3: Press Enter Competition
Step 4: Pay 1 AXS entry fee
Step 5: Wait for Dojo to verify your payment, then play the scheduled sessions
Track every leaderboard in the Events tab, and follow your progress and standings from your Dojo profile. Full payout breakdowns live in the Events tab.
Your 1 AXS entry fee is eligible for refund if you have a valid verified entry and play at least 10 total scheduled Playtest 3 matches. Eligible refunds are processed manually with rewards after Dojo review.
