bAXS is coming to Lunacia! Axie is evolving. Again. The AXS token will soon become the reserve currency for a new apptoken: Bonded AXS (bAXS). bAXS is an ERC20-C token with the same utility as AXS.
Airdrop Coming Soon: There will be TWO bAXS airdrops based on Axie Score and Staked AXS amounts. You’ll need at least 10 AXS staked before February 5th @ 00:01 UTC to qualify for Airdrop 1, which features a 100,000 bAXS pool! Stay tuned for more details on Airdrop 2.

Axie is evolving. Again. The AXS token has powered in-game rewards, secondary marketplace transactions, axie evolutions, and more for years. Soon, it will also become a reserve currency for a new app token: Bonded AXS (bAXS). Here’s what that means, and how YOU can get a bAXS airdrop:
What is bAXS and what can you do with it?
bAXS will do the same things as AXS: Use it to ascend, evolve, breed axies, forge new items on App.axie, staking, and more. Over time, we’ll also distribute most rewards in bAXS. However, the difference between both tokens is how they circulate through the Axie economy: bAXS will have features that encourage Lunacians to spend it within our ecosystem.
Over time, you’ll be able to earn bAXS through rewards in Axie experiences. In the meantime, here’s how you can get some during the upcoming airdrop:

During our recent Lunacian Lounge, we shared our plans to transition Homeland to a new kind of land-based gameplay called Terrariums. Think of Terrariums as the foundation of Axie Core: A place where axies live, grow, and earn through mini-games, expeditions, guilds, terrotories, accessories, collectibles, and even Atia’s Legacy. Our vision is to create a unified hub where future experiences come together. They’ll also become a key place to earn bAXS.
We’re targeting Q2 2026 as a launch timeline for a Terrarium MVP. Around that time, bAXS will be LIVE, the bAXS airdrops should be complete, and Terrariums will emit bAXS rewards for players. This is a big moment for Axie: We’re going back to our roots by bringing our community’s original dream for land to life. bAXS is only the first step.

bAXS will soon power most of the Axie economy. That’s why we’re looking into the best ways to distribute it. How do we make sure our most-devoted Lunacians get the allocation they deserve? Here’s what we know: Axie Score and Staked AXS amounts will light the way. The 2nd bAXS Airdrop will make it possible to get more bAXS in more Lunacian wallets.
Pro-tip: If you want to receive more bAXS during Airdrop 2, keep growing your Axie Score and stake the bAXS you receive from Airdrop 1. Your staked bAXS directly increases your total staking weight for the next snapshot.
